To All Residents of Prospect:

Without the help of each person in our community, the Prospect Lioness Club is unable to continue being the caretakers for the fund for Mercy Flights membership. In the past we have had funds from timber sales and raffle events. In addition we also were lucky to have folks who live here make some large donations.

This year we are unable to generate enough interest to continue in this manner. So If you wish to have coverage with Mercy Flights for your family, this is what you must do!!

The downloadable "Group Enrollment Form" application will be forth coming. You can use the link on the right side of this page to signup directly with Mercy Flights.

The Prospect Lioness Club has agreed to take on this responsibility for the community. You will need to complete the form and attach payment as per instructions on the bottom of the first page of the application. Make the payment to Mercy Flights by check or money order. You may then mail this to the Lioness Club at PO Box 102 or they may be turned in at the Christmas Bazaar on December 6 at the Community Club.

Many of us have Medicare as our primary insurance with a secondary Medicare does not pay for the first responder fee ($265.00) that Mercy Flights charges. Mercy Flights will write off the first one but if there is more you will be charged. Also, if you never use Mercy Flights, what you pay can be used as a donation at tax time.

If you have friends who live in other places in Southern Oregon, they can also join through our group. You no longer have to be a Prospect resident. For more information you may call Mercy Flights or Lioness Norma Horton at 560-3934.
